Pleasant View Home – Nursing, Memory, Independent and Assisted Living in Hutchinson and Inman, KS

Pleasant View Home of Inman is an elder care facility located in the heart of Kansas. Since 1947, the home has been dedicated to providing individuals with a variety of care options: long term care, independent living, day care, and memory loss.

Pleasant Hills, a sister facility recently opened in Hutchinson, KS, offers an active, wellness centered lifestyle where elders enjoy choices and opportunities throughout the day. Everything from laundry and housekeeping to meals, transportation and medical care is taken care of at Pleasant Hills.

The organization approached LogicMaze with the need for a website to showcase their award winning facilities. With a large campus and variety of services, they wanted a website that clearly laid out the options for both potential residents and their families. They also requested responsive design and programming, with an emphasis on mobile design.

The new website features information on Pleasant View Home, Pleasant Hills, Home Health services, and Independent Living. We incorporated a Content Management System (CMS) to allow for easy updates by the Pleasant View staff. We also added a feature to facilitate quick tour requests and residency applications to ease the selection process for families in search of a nursing home.

Additionally, LogicMaze developed a custom online application form for the HR department. Those interested in starting a career at Pleasant View Home can now apply for open positions through the website.

Local Business, Building Community – Positively Hutch

Positively-Hutch-Logo_Final

LogicMaze loves branding projects, and we love to come up with new ways to sing the praises of our home town. So it was quite a treat to be approached by a local business owner to create the branding for a new campaign that highlights the many ways that local business gives back to our community.

The design and marketing aces at LogicMaze were tasked with creating a name for the campaign, as well as a logo and tagline that would be used in all the print and online marketing efforts. Positively Hutch is the name for this community pride initiative that spotlights the businesses and employees that are making a positive impact on Hutchinson.

To get the word out about this effort, LogicMaze is partnering with The Hutchinson News and Eagle Radio. The campaign will include a monthly feature in The Hutchinson News that highlights the great people and projects in our town that are moving the community forward. Radio spots and interviews with the featured businessperson will run on Eagle Radio stations.

Readers and listeners will have the chance to nominate a person, group or business online for the monthly Positively Hutch honor. Local business gives back to our community in a host of ways, from providing jobs that form the base of our economy, to sponsoring fun events for everyone to enjoy throughout the year.

Some businesses and their employees go above and beyond to give back to Hutchinson. They participate in service projects, donate to non-profits, volunteer at their church, or get involved in committees and boards. Help us to recognize those special folks and the businesses for which they work!

Know of a worthy business? Nominate them at PositivelyHutch.com.

A special shout out goes to Midwest Ford Toyota Superstore for their generous sponsorship of this effort!

LogicMaze designs CD artwork for Melissa Newcome album

Melissa Newcome BlogMusic has been a big part of the talented Melissa Newcome’s life for as long as she can remember. She always loved singing, and had a desire to write her own original music.

But God had different plans for Melissa. She was encouraged by a local pastor and longtime family friend and neighbor, Matt Stafford, to pursue recording popular Christian music. This album is the result of that encouragement.

Matt and Melissa worked on arranging the songs in the summer of 2013. Bimonthly trips to Lawrence were made to record the music in studio with Jim Barnes. In December 2014, her labor of love was complete!

When it came time to design the artwork for her first album cover, Melissa came to LogicMaze. We came up with a unique look for her CD, and created a style that represents Melissa well.
